Just for Teens

Teen and Tween Club
We are starting up a brand new program for teens and tweens with help from homeschool parent, Heidi Tingelhoff. Teen and Tween Club is just for teens and tweens. We are looking for their input on activities with an emphasis on building friendships and Camaraderie. Parents, you are welcome to leave your older kids and spend some quality time with the younger kids in or outside the library! We will have plenty of parents on hand supervising.

Local Resources & Events
Please email us at jplibrarystaff@gmail.com if you have a homeschool teen event of interest that you would like us to share on this page. This includes classes, outings, and sport teams.

Literature2Life:
Literature to Life is designed to teach classic literature by (just like it says) bringing it to life! In authentic costumes and with a dramatic flare, Sloane Meyer creates a world where the past comes alive and offers relevance to our modern world. Sloane has appeared here, at the Historic Courthouse and at Crawford Long Museum in costume and in spirit of many literary characters and eras. Sloan will be presenting a “Cover to Cover” program in January and February. Please let us know if you are interested and which classic work you prefer!
